The Pilates Body reminds you that October is breast cancer awareness month. Thanks to earlier detection –through screening and increased awareness— and better treatments, a woman's risk of dying of breast cancer dropped 38 percent between the late 1980s and 2014, translating into 297,300 fewer breast cancer deaths during that time. Our Pink Ribbon Program certified trainers are post breast cancer operative recovery exercise specialist helping the recovery process.

This slow flowing Vinyasa class, will emphasis alignment, breath work and feeling strong and expansive in your own body, through breath techniques, multiple posture/poses and mindful movement. This class will be accessible for all levels, while keeping it challenging and uplifting. We will improve balance, flexibility, strength and learning ways to quiet the mind through breath and asana work.

YAMUNA Body Rolling for Athletes and Summer Activities

The second of this two part (July and August) YAMUNA Body Rolling Workshop series focuses on YAMUNA pointers for all the outdoor activities we love to do during Minnesota summers! Specific  principles will be applied for both Tennis and Golf. Swimmers will find specific focus on the shoulders and hips. Feet, Ankles, and Knees will be worked for the Hikers in the group, and of course Runners will get Hips, Back, Ankles and Feet attention.
