The Pilates Body presents our YAMUNA Workshop Series. Lead by Master YAMUNA instructor Teri Smith, the Workshop Series offers in depth and specific body focus. Whether you are an existing YAMUNA practitioner, or new to body rolling, these workshops can benefit you.


    $25 for the Workshop

    The Pilates Body believes your feet are the foundation of the body and that Yamuna Foot Fitness is essential for everyone at any fitness level. Strengthen your feet and you will strengthen your whole body. This program gives you simple proactive tools and solutions that can help you alleviate pain and prevent it. Once your feet are working correctly, they only require 5-10 minutes daily to keep them happy and healthy. Improving foot function and preventing your feet from restricting you at any time of life is the basic foundation of Yamuna footwork. Yamuna foot work re-educates the feet, improves gait, alignment, and muscle tone while stimulating reflexology points, strengthening arches, and increasing range of motion.  Yamuna fooot work also elongates the muscles of the calves, thighs, hips, and lower back. Working the feet you can rehabilitate foot problems and literally work your body all the way to your head.


     $25 for the Workshop

    SAVE YOUR KNEES is a great complementary Workshop for the work learned from Save Your Hips. This workshop focuses on maintaining your knee joints in good working order. In this workshop, you will learn how to build back healthy knee function and maintain it.

    This will allow you to do all the sports and fitness you love and avoid the breakdown often caused by repetitive movements into this joint. This is a terrific workshop for runners, cyclists, and dancers. If you think you are going to do any of these physical activities without knee damage you are wrong! Add in Save Your knees and you can keep doing what you love!


    $25 for the Workshop

    Save Your Hips offers a very deep workout to guarantee freeing restrictions and increasing your range of motion in your hips in places you didn’t even know were tight! You will get into areas of your hip joints that have been wearing down over the years without you ever knowing it. This workshop helps you to prevent breakdown in the hip joints and prevent hip replacements if you have worked out hard in your life. You can feel absolutely fine and all the sudden start to feel restricted as you get up from sitting. You do not have to accept stiffness in your hips and legs as part of the aging process! Everyone is encouraged to have this in his/her toolbox of self-care tools.


    When you are contracted in your pelvis your movements are compromised. Learn routines to help free restrictions. Your legs, torso, lower back, and hips will all experience relief, improve stride, and increase range of motion. The feet provide essential support and balance for the rest of the body which means you need to care of the feet like you do the rest of your body. Make them strong and healthy and they will take you where you want to go. Learn routines to raise your arches, realign your ankles, avoid future foot problems and improve your workout. The knees are one of the most challenging joints in the body to care for and that is why so many people have knee problems. The knee needs to be aligned correctly with both the hip and feet/ankles for them to function without wearing down. They also need to have proper space in the joint so they glide smoothly and efficiently. This workshop is perfect for anyone who has or is experiencing knee, hip or feet problems (i.e. plantar fascitits, shin splits, and sciatic issues.)


    $25 for the Workshop

    The spine is the lifeline to our body! Learn how to take care of your own back. Identify each part of the back, it’s function to the rest of the body, and how to optimize function and well-being through Yamuna body rolling patterns. A must do class for everyone! Leave this class feeling aligned from your tailbone to your skull. Bonus you may actually gain a few inches.


    $75 for the workshop includes your own face ball kit to take home.  If you already have a face ball kit the workshop is $25.

    $25 for the Workshop

    Your shoulder joint connects your hands and arms to your head, neck and torso. It is one the the most overused parts of the body. The repetitive use of the hands and wrists slowly begin to contract all the muscles from the hands through the arms, and into the shoulders, neck and head. This means it is important to keep the wrist and hand flexible yet strong, while also aligning the shoulders. This prevents tension and allows full range of motion. Learning how to care for your shoulders, hands, and wrists will prevent: movement limitation, round shoulders, frozen shoulders and other common shoulder injuries. In this class we will focus on connecting the hands, wrists and shoulders by learning how to unwind systematically.


    $50 per couple for the Workshop

    Love Your Mate Date! Rolling together- Learn to stretch, sooth, and relax your loved one with YBR massage. The workshop will cover beginning YBR routines and hands-on work for each other.

    Afterwards relax the body further and indulge with fruits, deserts, and wine!


     $65 for the workshop & includes your own advanced ball set to take home. If you already have an advanced ball set the workshop is $25
