Our Trainers
Lisa
My passion for health and wellness began with my dental hygiene career. I realized I could bring about positive change to the lives of others. The relationships that are built bring with it a level of trust between patient and practitioner. It is this passion for health and wellness, and building relationships, that brought me into the fitness industry. My journey began first as a group fitness instructor then into the Pilates world. I experienced how Pilates helped my back issues and muscular imbalances while giving an incredible sense of well being.
The Pilates Body started in 2012, helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Our mission to improve the way you move and offer uncompromised personal service is driven by the passion of our talented team of trainers.
My goal is to help others achieve inner strength and create balance within the body, increasing their overall quality of life. I have a passion for health and wellness which I bring to every client.

Viki
I have always had a passion for helping people feel better about themselves on the inside and out. This has taken me down many different paths and in 2010 I was ready to make some changes and decided to move my passion for movement and food from dabbling to a career.
When I was introduced to Pilates it was love at first “mat”. I was drawn to the flow, precision, strength, grace and results of Pilates. It was shortly after I started practicing that I knew I wanted to share this method with others. To reach optimal wellness we know that we need to move, breath and be nourished. It is my deepest desire to educate others on how to return to balance, reach optimal wellness, and prepare meals that will nourish themselves and anyone who sits at their table.
It is said that the meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away. I look forward to giving it to the clients of The Pilates Body.

Sarah Lee
Fitness is a passion of Sarah’s and has been for a very long time. She enjoyed playing several different sports growing up and continued on into college playing soccer for Iowa State University. After graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, she soon found herself sitting in a cubical daydreaming about promoting health/fitness to corporate employees. Shortly after working for a large corporation, Sarah decided to pursue her passion and received a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. In 2005, she started working as a Fitness Specialist in a hospital based employee wellness center working with a wide variety of fitness levels and special populations. These special populations, along with a personal back injury, led Sarah to becoming a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in Mat and Reformer (essential/intermediate level), Stability Chair (essential/intermediate) and Injuries and Special Populations.
“I truly believe Pilates can transform your body and make you feel leaner, longer and stronger. Not only do you feel refreshed after a great workout, but carrying yourself in a whole new way. It’s an amazing feeling!”
Sarah enjoys staying home with her three young girls and still be able to work as a Pilates Instructor. Pilates has helped Sarah find her center and strength again as a Mom. “It is vital to take care of ourselves at all stages of our lives whether we are a new Mom, an active older adult or taking special care of an injury. Pilates brings our inner and outer strength together to make us whole again.”

Megan
Megan’s passion for a healthy lifestyle began when she was a teenager, as she discovered that regular exercise and food choices made a big impact not only on her energy level and physical health, but also on her mindset. After earning a B.S. in Dietetics from the University of North Dakota and passing her dietitian board exam, Megan immediately began studying for her ACE personal training certification. She knew that to help others reach their health goals, both nutrition and exercise would be important.
While working as a Nutrition and Fitness Specialist for a large healthcare organization, Megan was introduced to the Pilates reformer. She immediately fell in love with how adaptable and beneficial Pilates can be for all levels of exercisers. In 2015, Megan completed her STOTT Pilates Reformer (essential/intermediate) certification. Over the years, she has continued her Pilates training by completing professional courses in Prenatal & Postnatal, Athletic Conditioning, Vertical Frame, BOSU, Fitness Circle and more.
Megan has witnessed the transformation that Pilates can have on people of all ages and physical abilities. She is passionate about helping each person feel their best and believes learning new ways to take care of yourself should be an enjoyable process.
