Lisa

My passion for health and wellness began with my dental hygiene career. I realized I could bring about positive change to the lives of others. The relationships that are built bring with it a level of trust between patient and practitioner. It is this passion for health and wellness, and building relationships, that brought me into the fitness industry. My journey began first as a group fitness instructor then into the Pilates world. I experienced how Pilates helped my back issues and muscular imbalances while giving an incredible sense of well being.
The Pilates Body started in 2012, helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Our mission to improve the way you move and offer uncompromised personal service is driven by the passion of our talented team of trainers.

Viki

viki
I have always had a passion for helping people feel better about themselves on the inside and out. This has taken me down many different paths and in 2010 I was ready to make some changes and decided to move my passion for movement and food from dabbling to a career.
When I was introduced to Pilates it was love at first “mat”. I was drawn to the flow, precision, strength, grace and results of Pilates. It was shortly after I started practicing that I knew I wanted to share this method with others. To reach optimal wellness we know that we need to move, breath and be nourished. It is my deepest desire to educate others on how to return to balance, reach optimal wellness, and prepare meals that will nourish themselves and anyone who sits at their table.
It is said that the meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away. I look forward to giving it to the clients of The Pilates Body.

Sarah Lee

Sarah Lee
Fitness is a passion of Sarah’s and has been for a very long time. She enjoyed playing several different sports growing up and continued on into college playing soccer for Iowa State University. After graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, she soon found herself sitting in a cubical daydreaming about promoting health/fitness to corporate employees. Shortly after working for a large corporation, Sarah decided to pursue her passion and received a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. In 2005, she started working as a Fitness Specialist in a hospital based employee wellness center working with a wide variety of fitness levels and special populations. These special populations, along with a personal back injury, led Sarah to becoming a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in Mat and Reformer (essential/intermediate level), Stability Chair (essential/intermediate) and Injuries and Special Populations.
“I truly believe Pilates can transform your body and make you feel leaner, longer and stronger. Not only do you feel refreshed after a great workout, but carrying yourself in a whole new way. It’s an amazing feeling!”
Sarah enjoys staying home with her three young girls and still be able to work as a Pilates Instructor. Pilates has helped Sarah find her center and strength again as a Mom. “It is vital to take care of ourselves at all stages of our lives whether we are a new Mom, an active older adult or taking special care of an injury. Pilates brings our inner and outer strength together to make us whole again.”

Mikayla

Mikayla Rudolf, originally from Mankato, MN, graduated from Texas Christian University
(TCU) with a BFA in Ballet, a Child Development minor, Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship
Certificate, and a Pilates Teaching Certificate. She began her Pilates journey in 2019 and quickly
discovered a passion for how Pilates offered numerous benefits as supplemental exercise to her
dance training. After benefiting from the increased body awareness and restorative aspects of
Pilates, she wanted to be able to share that with others. She then applied and was offered a place
in the TCU Pilates Teacher Training program, a certification path that involves 700 hours of
intensive Pilates education.
Her comprehensive Pilates training includes functional anatomy, history, philosophy,
ethics, information on health and wellbeing, and an overview of physical conditions and
contraindications that may require modification or deletion from practice. She has received
extensive training on Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, and Ladder Barrel and offers an
immense repertoire of exercises with classical and contemporary traditions. Through her training,
Mikayla received ample opportunities to learn how to view the body in motion. Through dance,
Pilates, and her educational background, she understands the significance of movement, and
knows how much valuable information is communicated through the body.
As an instructor, Mikayla believes it is her job to foster an inclusive community of learners.
She wants each client to feel a sense of belonging and be comfortable enough to always
communicate with her to bring value to each session and keep practitioners safe. Mikayla is
determined to create opportunities for all people to experience movement, and she admires how
Pilates is a universally accessible movement practice.
